One of the first things we did after Storm Bert was focus on maintenance, because we felt it needed to become proactive.

We noticed while listening to the community that there were misunderstandings about where and what people were talking about. In the interests of understanding each other, we created this spreadsheet to itemise the work at all ends of the village, clarifying locations and how important it was.

What software is required?

None. In Crudwell, we are using Google Sheets because:

• we want to share links, not files.
• it is a live editable document, there is only ever one version.
• instead of e-mailing files around, we “publish” the sheet and put the link in a chat channel.
• sharing works across the community, on any device.
